Eric takes this mostly because of this crazy collection of Yirmumah stuff he’s put together. Plus, he sent me kona coffee from the islands. ROCK! That’s really hard to beat folks. INTERNATIONAL FAN OF THE YEAR

The winner is …….. Schpat in South Africa. He sent me a kick butt Christmas card all the way from Sunny South Africa.
Runner up is Eri from Canada, who also sent me something nice and she has been a big supporter of the strip– but for some reason CANADA doesn’t seem international to me… even though it technically IS. heh.
Best Ukulele Team Up of the Year
Winner: Eri Gayler and Me on the Drew theme song. Which can still be heard HERE.
MOST READ STRIPS
This was a close one, but it boiled down to the most read strips being the BURGER KINGDOM COME story arc.
MOST LINKED STRIP
I was shocked to learn this, but the most linked strip this year was THINGS NOT TO SAY TO DARTH VADER AT THE IMPERIAL WATER COOLER.

Here’s a list of popculture folk who took the big dirt nap this year. — Damn man, Mitch Hedberg was only 37. That’s a crying shame.

FUCK! Well at least I made the nominee list. Eric sure is a fan with all those original prints and stuff. My guess was the serviceman overseas who bought the Brick of Silence and had pictures of himself throwing it.
And for those old enough to remember the now deceased Dunkin Donuts man: Recall his catch phrase, “It’s time to make the donuts.” You don’t hear that anymore. Where are they making the donuts now?

Geez, I feel like a totally idiot here. I’ve been away from ALL internet usage since Wednesday due to our family golf tournament and just family stuff in general (including being off of work till now!), and I missed this announcement! GAH! Some number 1 fan. Ugh.
Thanks for the nod, DJ. And what makes me feel like even more of an idiot is, I STILL HAVE YOUR CHRISTMAS PACKAGE HERE! Dammit. So yeah, eventually it’ll find its way in the mail and over to you.

I’d always heard “It’s an honor just to be nominated” and assumed it was an expression that, at best, was full of shit. Now that I’ve been nominated I can safely say that’s not the case. Thanks for the nod DJ, and I’ll continue clicking your links and hitting up that tip jar as long as you keep making me laugh.
