    Dave is dead?

Weren’t you lambasting him in that “Too Gay Dave” strip not all that long ago though?

  2. Shane Ronzio Says:

    That was another Dave.
The Dave that left the planet to join the Big Gig in the Sky was Dave Laws, or Elvis, or the King as he was known around the shop.
Around the Coffee on Crawford. The man was definitely unique, I am sure he is playing his Music out there, somewhere.
King Testecles and the Oracles of Fear was the name of his Band, they would Reinvent old songs and Churn out New stuff as well. I had them at the shop about 8 or 9 times, and they were also involved in a couple of festivals that we had at a local park, the East Park Summer Fest, D.J. actually did the poster for the Festival, I will have to put it in the Archives Section of the Web Site.
Luckily, there was some recordings of his work. His band put out a CD.
Dave had a great Effect on the world around him.
Looking back, I think he always knew that he wouldn’t be around a long time, and that is why he lived the way he lived.
    Free.
in the Immortal words of Jim Morrison…
“NO ONE HERE GETS OUT ALIVE.”
Get busy living or get busy Dieing.

  4. DJ Says:

Jim, if you pay attention to our strip on a regular basis, the DAVE in our strip is Dave Watkinson. Plus, he’s IN that in memory strip….

Awh well. I know there are people just trying to take a crap on something nice. It’s all good.

  5. Jim Says:

I read your strip daily DJ. It’s quite good.

I just didn’t recall a name attached to the other Dave, aside from Too Gay.

I saw him in the memory strip, but the way it was laid out, in my retarded head, it looked like he could’ve been about to be ‘washed away’ by the river in that strip.

Anhow, it was just somewhat confusing.
