Very Bloggy and non-comic related….

I took a journey out to the mall today, and it reminded me why this time of year bugs the crap out of me. Too much emphasis on material things…. too many material things for sale.

I bought one thing though, “Brushfire Fairy Tales” by Jack Johnson. My wife had bought up the “In Between Dreams” CD and I liked it so much, I thought I’d check out some more Jack Johnson. She informed me that the CD was cheaper at Walmart, but I said, what the hell, I’ve downloaded so much free music over the years, I don’t mind actually giving the money to a musician I like, etc. It’s rare.

I also got to see our own forum’s Cracka Keith…. I haven’t seen him in like 9 years. He’s all GQ’d out and a hit with the ladies. It’s too funny. I love that guy. He makes me laugh.

Steelers play tomorrow, and the mothercrunkers better not let me down. Bengals are gonna be tough to beat, but we gotta show em what for…. Cracka Keith says, if the Steelers lose, he’s turning on them and wearing a Browns jersey the rest of the year in the mall. I want to videotape that and see how the yahoos around here react to a Browns jersey…. ok enough sports talk… you’d think I was a jock or something… i actually HATE sports usually… but when you live in Western PA, you suddenly become a Steelers fan sooner or later.

Alright… it’s almost 10pm Saturday night, and Dane Cook is hosting SNL tonight.. WOO! I can’t wait. Dane is the man. He mentioned on his site, he actually turned down SNL a few years ago, because he thought he wasnt good enough! Whoa! It’s been his dream since 7 years old to host SNL… and tonight, we get to watch a boys dream come true. I don’t know the guy personally, but I’m super friggin happy for him. Best comedian alive.
