Drew, it seems that in the last two strips Yirmuhmah has regained some manner of fire that it had seemed to lose.

Nevertheless, I’m glad he’s back at the helm. The guest strips were all good quality, but I come here for strips like this. It’s great that Drew has mellowed a little bit, and his success it well deserved… but dick jokes are pretty much required.

It’s nice to see some gag-a-day yirmumah, but it may take me a while to get into Wiz’s groove. I’m a bit too vested in the Fayetteville (sp?) context. a crack whore? in a pile of leaves? It’s a bit too incongruous for me. The hand in the turkey’s ass was pretty good though. But, that’s how humor is sometimes. Hit and miss. Not much in between. It’s all good.

Hey, folks! Been really happy to see so many of you diggin’ the stuff DJ and I have been putting out this past week.
Sean, thanks for sharing your thoughts. When you say you’re a bit too vested in Fayette… do you mean that it doesn’t seem plausible for a crack whore to be there? I actually did a little research before writing this particular strip and discovered some interesting parallels between Fayette County (DJ’s home turf) and Plymouth County (my home turf). My county has almost four times the population of DJ’s… and the number of reported crimes in my county is, surprise, almost four times the number of reported crimes in Fayette. Meaning that we have almost the exact same crime rate.
And let me tell you… a crack whore in the leaves in certain parts of Plymouth wouldn’t be unheard of.

Sadly, I must report that there are indeed many fucked up druggies around these parts, and I would not doubt you’d find them in piles of leaves, under bridges, etc. This area has REALLY gone downhill. There have also been a lot of drug related deaths over the years. It’s pretty sad.
Oh, and Wiz has a BUNCH of stuff written up I’ll be getting to… I think one arc even has the Fayette name in it…. remember, we’re talking about the REAL Fayette-Nam here… heh.

Yeah… that’s when we got picked up by adultwebcomics.com.
Chad and I both felt a little seedy doing it, but it brought the strip a loooot more readers and the folks behind the site are stand-up guys.
