Well, the whole Net Neutrality thing isn’t looking too good right now. LINK - It’s simple common sense that there is just TOO much money out there, lobbyists, etc. I mean, DUHRRRR! You’d think the GOOD GUYS who don’t want the net played around with, (places like Google, Amazon, Ebay, Paypal, etc etc) would have their own powerful money lobbyists in Washington, but indeed, they don’t. If Net Neutrality is defeated, it’s the beginning of the end of how things currently work online. Sadly…
Sigh.

GOOD GAWD YALL, you’d better check out WOLFMOTHER. I’ve caught their music on the Sirius Satellite radio for some time, but now their music seems to be popping up on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the intro music to Dane Cook’s Tourgasm and a couple other places…. but forget all that.. THE ALBUM FREAKING ROCKS!!! It’s only like 9 bucks too at Walmartz. You simply can’t beat it. The cover art and lyric book are all Frank Frazetta paintings too, which is a bonus—- I can’t explain their sound to you, it’s a little Led Zepplin, Black Sabbith, SoundGarden, The DOORS, The WHO— all rolled into one big ball of KICK YOU IN YOUR FACE ROCK! Actually, there’s 4 songs streaming on their myspace page. Do check that out. You can thank me later.

DJ, I have to say that I don’t like the new site favicon. I really *hate* animated ones, they’re annoying and distracting. Plus there’s no way to block animated ones without turning off all icons entirely. Please pleeaase go back to the old one or something that doesn’t make me want to gouge my eyes.

4. I’d describe Wolfmother as a power trio version of Uriah Heep & Hawkwind.
They also have heavy influences of Barret era Floyd, UFO, early Triumph and early Rush. I can’t believe this album was made in 2006 it sounds like a lost classic from 1974!

The transition from panel two to panel three is just… just shocking! I believe you have invented the Anti-Yirmumah. Now quickly, seal it in a vault and drop it in a pool of wet concrete! Though even that won’t be able to hold it forever, we’ve still got to try, man!

I think that if it passes, it’s gonna turn into an american version of May ‘68… At least I hope.
One thing I’d like to know about this is how it’s gonna influence the rest of the world… Will other countries be affected by this? And if let’s say canadian websites remain free to access, will some website owners switch their websites to canadian servers to be free?

I just woke up and turned the computer on…
The new Favicon will stay until it annoys me. I’m sorry if it bugs anyone else. I was surprised to see people had noticed and I actually got good e-mails about it!? Weird… I’ve never gotten e-mails about an friggin FAVICON before! hah.
Why are people so hard on Dane Cook? Maybe some of his sound bites get a little tired, but I personally think his albums are friggin funny. Maybe give them a shot– or not. I’ve heard other people diss him, I know the Howard Stern crew dislike his brand of humor.
If there was a Yirmumah movie though, I think I’d like Dane to play an angry Drew.

I have given him a chance.
I equate Dane’s comedy with the music of Creed or Nickleback or any other band like that.
Very middle of the road and easy to please.
No edge or originality.

I’m with DJ. I like Dane. Too many people out there are overcritical and just looking for a reason to hate on something. You get up on stage and tell jokes jackass and then I’ll make my decision. You can’t listen to jokes album and over again.

Anyone that thinks Dane Cook is funny should have there head examined. This guy is a tool. He brainwashed college kids through his web site to believe that he was the MAN. Which is total bull. This guy has a huge data base of robot fans that will pay to see him , and they only pay $17 to see him , if you don’t believe me check out any college he has ever played at, but he has absolutely zero talent. The last time I was in New York I hung out at the “New York Comedy Club” and saw a comedian named “Robert Bella” , a cross between Steve Martin and Rodney Dangerfield , the funniest comic I have seen in years !!!! You want to laugh , see this guy , believe me you will thank me for the rest of your life. Make sure you call to see if he is performing , that way you don’t go there just to see the average comedians.
