The Adventures of Barney Fife…

Man, I loved Don Knotts. What a great part of just about everyone’s childhood, huh? There was a time where he use to weird me out when I was wee little kid, but I got over it. I loved that movie he did with Tim Conway called “The Private Eyes”. — Man, and the Dad from a Christmas Story died too. They’re dropping like flies, I tells yah.
Hey, you may or may have not noticed but I’m now offering those tower ads for sale via an ad management system I installed. Check out the prices HERE. I think I can even give you a login code to check your stats, etc. And I have it set to rotate through a couple of my banners so your impressions won’t get burnt up. In fact, the more the merrier on those. — I’ve had people ask about this before, because those limited sponsor spots get taken up pretty fast. So, if you want some exposure for your comic or whatever you might be sellin, give it a whirl.

Dude, now you have to do Darren McGavin, ’cause he died Saturday (if you hadn’t heard). You could have a team-up in hell. Think of the possibilities: Kolchak and Fife…in Hell!

Don Knotts was incredible! I’ve seen almost everything he’s ever been in. That guy always made me laugh.
Today’s comic was great, I hope to see more Don Knotts jokes!

Yes, indeed, the El Diablo Bobblehead exists. Mine was a gift from NAte Piekos of Blambot fonts. It sits on the shelf overlooking my tiki bar.

2 points:
1. For best Don Knotts movie? How about: “The Reluctant Astronaut” and “The Incredible Mr. Limpett” - both underappreciated classics. I still will watch Mr. Limpett if it comes on.
2. “Burn in Hell”? Just for that strip? DJ will burn in Hell for just about every strip he does (”For Calypso” being the exception) or I’m gonna stop reading it. After all, that’s what this comic’s about, isn’t it? Lots of people do the “rest in HEaven” material; “burn in Hell” strips are much more fun.
