HOBO

Hey, see the next post for some big news.

It’s been an amazing two weeks so far– it’s been fun drawing the comics, writing future scenes– and it’s been fun reading your e-mails– so far, no one has complained, which I’m sort of surprised. I mean, I WILL get back to the usual dark and twisted gags we all enjoy. Now it’s sort of like waiting for a twisted thing to pay off. Or something. Anyways, thanks for the well wishes and the feedback on this direction. It’s appreciated.

Also, we got a little love from FLEEN yesterday. If you don’t know FLEEN, well then, screw you, you don’t really know webcomics. ;) LINK

Yeah, no sleep for the wicked awesome! *fly the horns* aka prank calling the devil

  2. Darren Says:

    Stupid Hobos.

  3. Dave Says:

Hahaha, I get it. Drew’s grandparents are named Thelma and Louis. Good one.

  4. Coyoty Says:

I thought the sudden dispatching of Henry seemed too easy, and now I see why. Instead of the expected attack of the hobo storyline, we have an unexpected turn where the characters have to deal with their own existing problems through their reactions to Henry’s death. We now see that Dad isn’t as charitable as we thought, and it looks like Mom and Donny are going to be reexamining their own values, and we ours. The tension in the family may mean that Dad is as much a menace as Henry. Nice twist.

Coyoty, you’ve just taken me back into High School English analysis. And yes, props to DJ for the engrossing storyline thus far.

  6. Darren Says:

Bullshit. The dad works for a living and is married. The hobo was trying to take the fruits of labor of a man. Making them comparable menaces is crap.
