Taking a Break! BOOKS COMING OUT!
Ok.. I have been printing mail labels ALLLLLLLL day and my eyes are bleeding. I want to get all the issue 5 orders (and any multi-book orders) out by Saturday morning at the latest– Everyone who preordered the book gets the nifty preorder only SUPERMAN vs JESUS comic print thing. It makes me smile.
Hobo Feedback: Still getting a lot of feedback from folks about the storyline– Man, I’m really glad people dig it. This is a fun experiment of adding this stuff into the mix. I don’t know how long it’ll go on for, but maybe to break it up a bit, I’ll toss gags in on the weekends, etc. Or take a break from the story and give you an intermission of the usual Yirmumah madness. Because, WOW, there have been a ton of topics and killer ideas I’ve had the last few days.
Goin Back To Cali’: So, I’m excited to be heading back out west for this COMIC BOOK CHALLENGE thing. They just announced today that Ving Rhames will be a celebrity judge. Also, I guess you’ll be able to watch online with an internet stream as people pitch their ideas. Even me! That sounds like fun, eh? Then voting will be open to the public on that site. I’m also going to hit up the San Diego Comicon while I’m around and meet some people I’ve been meaning to meet up with. I wanted to go full fro ablazing, but my wife informs me I look like I came out of a garbage dump or I’m homeless. They might also consider my fro “carry on” luggage.
Here’s a little something to check out– video of Roy Smeck “The Wizard of the Strings” jamming out on his uke– notice that his hand goes so fast the camera cannot catch it. Amazing work on the uke.

HOLY ROYAL CRAP! What the HELL?! Can people move their hands THAT fast while playing a string instrument?
*looks at his guitar*
Man, I feel humilliated… xD

Yes they can. I’ve seen people do it in person and their hands just disappear– almost like the spokes on a wheel.

This guy Roy Smeck “The Wizard of the Strings” is trully amazing. I’m blown away by this. Can anybody do these kind of stunts today, and if so where do I go to see it live!?!?
