Getting a lot of e-mails about this chapter. It’s encouraging to know I’m not completely wasting my time here, and giving some form of daily entertainment. Can I say it’s a little, sort of, dare I say, refreshing not to HAVE to rely on the standard gag writing or dick and fart jokes? It’s refreshing to escape from the formula like crap of — “Oh, pop culture news, insert people talking about it, people disagree, insert some violence or farting at the end.” — repeat for many years and then wait in line for an industry award. OH, COMICS!
Actually, just typing that made me miss those days of farting or violence in the strip. Or bricks. Maybe I’ll just draw tomorrow’s strip with ASSKICKING PILGRIMS having a farting contest? You don’t think I’ll do it, DO YOU? DO YOU!!!???

anyone else find it funny that she’s begging for her life by saying “i can’t swim” when she knows damn well that their intention is to drown her, that and the fact she’s weighed down with chains to make sure she sinks

Great strip…what’s coming next? Doctors with Leeches? Seeing these really are a breath of air from the typical fart jokes….They’re good, but it’s nice to take a break from em.
