September 11th
On remembereing September 11th and the terror attacks… I still think it’s a bit early to be making movies about this event. One airs tonight about Flight 93, which went down not to far from Yirmumah HQ, in Somerset PA.
Of course we’ll never forget that morning. In the days following, we got an e-mail from the brother of a guy who died in the World Trade Center who was still getting our Gravity e-mails daily there. I had this eery thought that I couldn’t shake for a long time, that this guy was showing up for work, checking his rounds online, reading our stupid little sci-fi comic moments before a plane obliterated his building. And that’s not to personalize the attacks in anyway– I don’t think I’ve mentioned this much at all publicly, Bob knows about it, and I think we mentioned it on the Gravity site when we found out…. but damn. I still think about that. I probably always will. The internet has made us such a small small world.

I agree, I don’t think it’s such a wise decision to make ANY movies about what happened on September 11th simply because of all the pain and hurt that is now associated with today. Those attacks affected EVERYONE, not just those who were directly involved.

well they have made a movie on pretty much every major terrorist attack and war to date so wahts to stop them from doing it again.

A few generations into the future, the actual attack will be a distant memory that the future won’t connect with; its kind of like us and WWII right now.
