A Saturday Yirmumah blawg roundup…

Today was the first day in a LONG time I was able to sleep in… Felt great!

I watched the first 9 minutes of Serenity on some website, HERE IT IS. Look, I tell you what, I was a little harsh on it last week, but the first 9 minutes looked decent and if I can crawl out of my batcave, MAYBE I’ll actually go watch it and review it here. Just so you know I’m a fair sci-fi fan. I’ll just try to forget the terrible tv show and take this as a first serving. — Actually, all the talk and people trying to sway me, makes me want to check out the DvD now as well and watch the episodes in order.— My only advice to the people running these things, Get it right the first time for pete’s sake, or you’ll definitly have bitter idiots like me saying it was a horrible show, bad trailer for the movie, etc…… If I’d of seen the first 9 minutes of the movie sooner, my blog probably would have said just what I said– that I was interested in checking it out. Especially seeing more Reaver stuff….

Ashlee Simpson is making another go of Saturday Night Live tonight. Will she sink or swim???? Come on, it’s ASHLEE SIMPSON, even if she DOES sing, it’s going to suck and hurt my ears…. but I’ll watch anyway, because I am some kind of crazy SNL junky. And I think this new season has some potential– at first I was worried hearing about the ladies taking a leave… but seeing some of the previous writing from the new writers (the guys who did Awesometown online) — I think the show will kick some butt. I say that every year. And at LEAST once a year I have the conversation with Dave Watkinson how MAD TV sucks compared to SNL. He’s a huge MAD TV fan, but I can’t stand canned laughter and things that look like they were rehearsed to death. Canned laughter is the worst…. UGH.

On the Yirmumah front.. it’s going to be an interesting week. Some sour news to report…. but we’ll get through it! You might notice the nifty ANTI-CLAUS banner I’ve popped up on the main page and in the archives…. just testing things out and trying to keep the lights on! WINK!
