Remember the Llamas

Today’s guest strip is by a fellow Daily Grinder, Eric Poole. One of the few grinders I’ve met in real live. I love it. Although, Fayette Nam is technically north of the mason dixon line, but I dont know if he was talking about that specifically or not.
Hey! another day, another super fantastic HERO BY NIGHT diary installment is up. Go see, and tell your friends! Link that baby up.
Actually, in only 4 installments now, it’s jumped to the #1 spot in the Super Hero Genre for overall readership, and #25 and climbing in the overall comic book category. Not that I’m looking to compete with anyone in that regard, it’s just nice to know people are reading and digging it! That’s a really great start, and I’m excited about it.
The notes I’ve been getting from readers are encouraging too, there are a few similar to this one:
“100% TOTAL AWESOMENESS!!!!
I can’t believe I actually like and look forward to new installments of a “superhero” comic.
I stopped reading those 20+ years ago.”
Here’s another:
“Dude, this stuff makes me feel like I’m 12 again, going absolutely BATSHIT waiting for the next Batman comic to hit the “Hey, Kids! COMICS!” spinny magazine rack at the Circle K.”
When I hear stuff like that, it fuels me to go draw even more. This is a lot of fun on my end, but it’s really nice to know it’s bringing something back for some people. Something even I lost at one point.
And I won’t even begin to tell you how my kids go on and on about it. My oldest son says to me… “Dad, make sure you keep all this stuff because I want to continue this when you’re dead.”
GEE, THANKS KID. I jokingly told him he will need to negotiate with Platinum, but I didn’t think it would be much of a problem as long as he kept up the “ASSKICKING FACTOR”
My kids are the best. Back to the drawing board for me… duty calls.

When in doubt, Wikipedia or Google are your friends.
