Passing On…

Not to be a Debbie Downer on this Sunday morning, but today is my wife’s grandfather’s funeral. I had mentioned him before in the New Year’s eve entry, well, he passed on on Friday night. My wife was really close to her grandpa so it’s been really hard around here to say the least. What a great human being he was. Clearly not a bad bone in his body.

When good people pass, especially ones I’ve known personally, it makes me want to be a better person. And that’s why, on these occasions, I play a song for them on my ukulele.

Carmen W. Cope was 86 years young.
