    Amen!

I don’t care. I’m going to go see it anyway. Don’t ruiin the suckfest for me.

  3. Andrea DuBois Says:

I agree… there was hardly any part of the movie involving Venom. There was like a few minutes and that was it. Also, I don’t completely like the choice of Topher Grace as Venom. It’s hard to take him seriously in a villian role, for me anyway.

  4. Wink Says:

Seriously? Am I the only person that enjoyed this movie? Okay, I’m overlooking the fact that Venom wasn’t in it as much as I would have liked, but it was still damn awesome. And honestly, as much as I didn’t agree with the choice as Topher as Brock, I enjoyed his performance. I would have loved to see more on-screen time for Venom, and more development of the character. But still, I enjoyed the movie and I plan on seeing it again.

Suck it , nerds ! I gots’ yo’ money AND I get to keep the spidey tights . Wait till the next sequel , ya’ bastiches ! Creepy pays , babies . Creepy pays !!

You know… it was only in retrospect that I noticed the plot was a bit weak and the storylines were insufficiently developed. I was thoroughly enjoying it throughout all, because the action was entertaining to me (not to mention that I got to laught at emo-spidey). Granted, I was watching it on IMAX, and I’m almost certain that action scenes become geometrically improved with the size of the screen. I never once thought it came near the awesome level of the first two, but I wasn’t disappointed with what I got. It wasn’t grand storytelling, but it was fun. *shrug*

I took the kids.. they liked it but I kept going WTH! On the other hand the preview for the new Fantastic 4 film looked good

  8. Tim Demeter Says:

Cheesy romance novel drama, bad dancing, doing things you instantly regret, and a lot of crying sounds more like an average Friday night to me than a Spider-Man movie.

  9. Zach Miller Says:

Yeah, that movie totally sucked. I was pissed after seeing that.

  10. S. Ramsden Says:

Dude… Yirmumah has banner ads for the damned film. Sell out!

  11. DJ Says:

    Ka Ching!

  12. S. Ramsden Says:

Well, I thought that the film was okay myself. The incongruity of the banner ads and your review however, is nothing short of hilariously ironic. I guess it’s a good thing you realised I was only being mock-serious with the previous post, or at least I assume you did considering your reply.

Seriously though, why help advertise something you didn’t enjoy? Seems a tad off, even if it is amusing.

Every time I saw Topher Grace on screen, I kept expecting Kurtwood Smith (a.k.a. Red Foreman) to pop up somewhere. The movie would’ve been ten times better with this exchange.

“Eric, take that goddamn costume off and go back home! You look retarded!”

“Uhh, this isn’t That 70’s Show, and this costume is symbiotically bonded to my body, I can’t just…”

“I’m gonna ’symbiotically bond’ my foot up your ass if you don’t take that costume off this minute!”

In regards to the banner ads, the scripts that are placed on a website posts ads that are relevant to what the current page is about. ie. It reads “Spider-Man” and pops up an ad for Spidey3 for instance. Its not the webmasters fault. PA had it happen to them all the time before they changed advertising affiliates.
