Hooray– Wiz brings us the return of Bigfoot and Tiki! If you’re not familiar, you can find them sprinkled throughout our archives.

Bigfoot and Tiki seriously need their own animated situation comedy– complete with a laugh track, etc. It couldn’t be lame ass flash animation that people call REAL animation though. MEH. If I had my choice, I’d have John K. draw it. We actually talked in the past via email about having him draw up a B&T commission something for my tiki bar. I then spent all my money on other stuff. This reminds me that I should possibly put that ball into motion again…. No one would care really, but just to have that hanging up at the Tiki bar would be the cat’s ass to me.

People keep asking me if we’re up for any Webcomic awards nominations, WCCC? WCW?? WTF? The truth is, I don’t care. I guess there is a super hero category– maybe that will be interesting to see who gets nominated for that, seeing as how there aren’t all that many true super hero genre strips out there. (at least that are worth a damn, imho) — I don’t have time to pay attention at the moment, and really it amounts to a big ball of nothing, like most awards. Nobody who really matters, gives a damn about awards you won on the internet.

Wiz is taking over the world, it seems. (I’m on to his nefarious plan) Not only is he writing for Yirm, but he’s also got another strip going M-W-F called “There’s Always Porn” , which a fellow named Bob Sugar draws. Who’s style looks… familiar… or something under it, like they’re trying to hide their style… but it looks familar. Something in the fundamentals??

Hats off to Zach Miller– his new bigger and deluxe Joe and Monkey Comics are the efhing bomb! joeandmonkey.com - Give that guy some awards… or money and contracts. I’ve said it before– but… brilliant cartoonist. It’s rare to find cartoonists worth a damn. He is worth FIVE damns.
