What silicone are you using Schpat because mine smells like an Ammonia factory by the end of the month!! Im using “petpal” costs about R100/5kgs. Is there a better one to get and where?

Don’t use one of the automatic kind! You hate cleaning cat litter? Well imagine having to take apart a system of motors and gears that cats have been pooping on for months. Try to fix that.

Eventually I just threw it away.

Now we use these sifting cat pan liners. They have holes in them, like a grate. When you need to change it just pick it up and the lumps of shit and piss stay in the bag while the litter that hasn’t been used sifts through the holes. They only cost a couple of bucks. The only place I’ve seen them is at Wal-Mart, though.

I saw a litter box at a home show once that used a special litter that the box would wash with a special detergent and dry. Sort of a chemical toilet for cats. It was very expensive, so I doubt they’re still in business.
