Hey, I know I had a public inter-spat with Lea a couple weeks back, and there’s no love lost there for sure, but I feel really bad that she’s had a house fire and lost pretty much everything. I donated what I had in my paypal, it wasn’t much at all because I’ve been well, BROKE… but still, she lost some animals and pretty much everything she owned I guess. I feel really shitty about it. I’m glad she’s ok and her family is ok.

It really puts all this internet bullshit into perspective. We’ve had TWO close calls here this week with our own kids. The first was that killer hornet crap and the allergic reaction that nearly killed our 5 year old, then YESTERDAY my 9 year old choked at school and they had to give him the heimleich manuever FIVE TIMES. Life is pretty short and fragile.

You can paypal to divalea@gmail.com or do checkups on her blog to see how she’s doing. — Someone told me she had fire insurance, but I imagine that stuff can take a LONG time to go through, so try to help out if you guys can, even 5 bucks or something could probably help in some manner.

I hope all of the Y! Nation takes a good look at this and gives what they’re able to. Karma’s a nasty bitch, but it can also be an incredibly forgiving one. Thanks for passing this one on, DJ.

This is why I feel good about diving in and being a rabid fan when defending you in the blog. You could have a catfight with someone but be ready to help them out when life deals them a crappy hand.

Losing an animal is a terrible thing. I’ve been there once. :(
