So, more and more folks are getting their monthly comic books in and kind words are spreading around. I just saw the really nice write up by Krishna Sadasivam PC Weenies newsblog HERE. — Here’s a snippit of what he said:

Anyway, in addition to spreading the monetary love by supporting one of my favorite webcomics, I was curious to know how the printed comic would look like. (Research - that’s what it is.)

And I was totally blown away.

This comic screams professional from the word ‘go’ - from the time you see the hilarious cover, all the way to the letters column in the back page. Plus, DJ makes each comic unique by adding a sketch on the inside front cover. A very nice touch, I might add. It looks like a comic book and it feels like a comic book.

I’m very happy to see that DJ’s tackling self-publication head-on - eliminating the distribution chain and selling direct to the customer.

This is a HUGE milestone in webcomics and my hat’s off to DJ for making it happen.

Wow, that’s a glowing statement. I’m really glad so many people dig the quality all the way through and it gets me psyched up to start work on the next issue. As a matter of fact, i’m going to go work on some stuff for that right now.
