Important Hero By Night info!
Hey gang… wanted to let the Yirm readers know that there’s a new OFFICIAL HERO BY NIGHT FORUM up. Go register, here’s why.. this will be my daily hang from now on in regards to all things HBN, and a chance to speak directly with the readers and build a community around Hero specifically. How bout you get back to the funny, we endured your one hiatus, we endured when you said you were back which lasted like one week, and now this latest hiatus where you whore out hero by night instead of being funny. Eventually we might stop coming here as the funny seems to have completly dried out.

And hey, asshole, I’ll whore out Hero By Night anytime I feel like it. It’s a damn good project– equally as awesome as the funny in Yirmumah. In fact, funny is to Yirmumah as action and adventure is in HBN.

What made Hero by Night possible, yirmumah. Is it so much to ask for maybe one comic a month instead of a blog about hero by night, would it kill you to draw just one a month. I mean you seem to have plenty of time to gab about Hero by Night over and over and over, just take some of those minutes and give back to the people who visit the site for the funny.

Good Lord, who the hell do you think you are, Patrick? How did Yirmumah make HBN possible? Nowhere in any of the reviews or feedback about HBN have I seen anything attributing HBN’s success to Yirmumah; it is a solid book and I can bet you that the majority of the new readers who are buying the print comic aren’t doing so because they’re all DJ Coffman fanboys. Sure there’s a lot of them, but there’s also a lot of comic readers who are buying it just because it’s a great comic.
Why don’t you do a comic yourself, since you think it’s so easy? Why don’t you do your own website and do comics of your own? I mean, DJ gave you so many laughs through Yirmumah, why don’t you just shut your damn ignorant ass and give HIM some laughs back? And while you’re at it, buy some HBN issues as well. It’s the least you can do for wasting his time to even respond to your ridiculous demands.
He’s been doing Yirmumah for years, for FREE. HBN is now his JOB. Of course it comes first.

Yirmumah didn’t make HBN possible at all. It’s a total 180 from anything I’ve done at Yirm. I do appreciate the fans of Yirm, or fans of ME or my work for voting, but like Maui said, I’ve been at Yirm for quite some time here on it’s own. Patrick, i wonder if you ever bought any print issues of yirm merchandise to support us here— if you have THANK YOU.
Honestly, it’s inspiring to hear someone say how much they’d like to see it come back. And when I call anyone ASSHOLE, it’s just like I’d call my own friends asshole if they got snarky with me in my living room. (I do, like “ok asshole, get me a beer.) — but what else would you expect from the Yirmumah way of life?
All that said– people hoping for more yirm and reading this…. stay tuned…. october…. and possibly check out the .com sister to this site.

Do you ever find it kind of even more insulting to use someones name in such a personal manner when you don’t even know them. Now. listen here DJ I come to this site every day looking for the funny and am sadly disappointed day in and day out. And DJ I just can’t stand for this outrage anymore you could at least give us one comic a month, I mean Hero by Night may be your baby but you are fooling yourself if you think yirmumah did not contribute to any success it has. because I believe this to be true DJ, a large portion of your start up audience and eventual fans of the HBH probably found there way from yirmumah. I mean to insult one audience DJ to try and placate another one when that audience probably consists of the same people is just silly. So DJ, you need to get back to the funny.

Love the coloring job on that cover, DJ. I’m going to my comic shop today to see Josh Elder come in and do a signing for his books, and I’ll be sure to order a copy of Hero By Night when I do.
