I wanted to title this blog entry… “IF this be my destiny…” or some other old comic booky quote from Jack Kirby’s comics. Heh. Forgive me, I am a comic book nerd at heart, and I feel like the last 9 days have been just written out by someone else and i’m just a character in the story.

Anyway, this is it, one last little push to get people out to VOTE FOR “HERO BY NIGHT”.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, to everyone who’s e-mailed, posted on forums, blogs– JEEBUS! It’s like the Yir-Army came out to play for keeps this time. All of my friends and family who’ve called or wrote well wishes– The word REALLY got out there– thanks to the online comic news sites like Comixpedia and PULSE for posting articles about it as well. Again, all very humbling.

I won’t lie to any of you, I’m nervous. I’ve done my best. I pitched the best idea I could to something called COMIC BOOK CHALLENGE 2006. So, now it was in all of your hands, or in the hands of greater powers beyond me.

So what do I do when I’m nervous? Well, I’m gonna go draw, of course! I’ll be up all night drawing next week’s Yirmumah comics, because c’mon now, did you really think I’d miss an update? Heck no! Anyways, I’m gonna go hang out with Jack and draw some comics. I should hear by 3am or so my time, maybe?? Who knows. I’ll call my wife first and let her know whats up, and then post any news here following that. Thank you all again….
