I wish all webcomic readers thought like this…
Wow– Eric just posted this in the last comments section:
2005 was a great year. Got a huge promotion and raise and have donated at least $40 to every webcomic I read. I encourage anyone else with a spare $40 to do the same. The guys and girls who create these comics do so with no real safety net and no reasonable expectation of making a living from it. What’s $40 to you? A dinner out. What’s $40 to DJ’s thousand readers? Nothing special. What’s DJ’s thousands of readers $40 to him? A salary, a car, rent and groceries. Have a great 2006 DJ, and keep grinding away.

Holy crap. He’s right. How simple does that sound? Seriously, if even 1000 people donated 20 bucks, I’d be a happy camper living in Fayette-Nam! — Seriously, I commend Eric or anyone for donating anything at all, especially to every webcomic you read and love. That is a great way to help support the indy creators out there. Including myself… thank you guys.
Even if you can’t donate, if you look around the site and think, you’ll see other ways to continually $upport the site. COUGH COUGH…
Looks like I’m going to start the new year completely broke! Thanks Santa!

I donated the guy who does Dominic Deegan, if I include T-shirt sales…probably about 150 dollars over the past year. I’ll scrape some quid for you in the new year, since your comic makes me laugh so very much….just I’m really in the hole right now.
