So, as you probably see, Yirmumah has returned. I’ll be doing a M-W-F schedule for now. I might increase it, because honestly I COULD Bust out 4 or 5 strips in a good work day because I rule so much. I think I’ve waited long enough to return to weed out the true believers from the trollish types. So, I’m glad you’re here if you’re here.

You might also notice it’s back to the original horizontal setup. Why? Well for one, I wanted to. I’d been itching to do it for awhile, but with the past deals with Cracked Magazine and other sites the vertical setup fit better in their sites. Plus, honestly the site seems a lot cleaner and well kept this way. Considered it “groomed” if you may.

The eBay thing- I’ve had a lot of people ask me in the past about selling originals, but some I’d just give away because there wasn’t much to them. Now I’m in this kick where I’ll draw the things out and try to make them special and “finished” looking. The smart thing to do would be like other webcomic people and do most of the work in the computer, or have cut and paste libraries that you alter… but screw that noise! I’m going to go out a limb, like i always have and actually draw my friggin comic strip, then I offer it to the good people at a starting bid of 10 bucks. It’s practically like giving it away. All proceeds will go to my kid’s summer allowance funds.

I had a few days off where I was doing physical labor in the sun and not drawing at all. My creative muscles were still roaring to go, so even though my hands weren’t moving my brain wouldn’t stop. I wish I would have had a pen or something on me while building the new swing set for the kids with my father in law, because I swear that day I must have had 50 ideas hit me like a ton of bricks, but all I could do was giggle silently to myself.

While I’m technically done with the actual art and story for the 4 issue mini-series of Hero By Night, we still have PLENTY more time of updating through July at the Drunk Duck site, and then we’ll be doing more (details to be worked out) - but that’s another thing there, my mind is also constantly thinking out story ideas, mini-plots, future plots, etc. Some nights I just want to sit down and jam them out ahead of time, but it’s not the smart thing to do of course. It’s all stored in my noggin though. It’s so much fun, and it’s been a pretty humbling experience with all the great reviews and fanfare so far.
