Again, not reallly COMIC related, but possibly helpful for creators out there– Google has opened up it’s WRITELY service to the public. It’s pretty much a free wordprocessing service online, and like Gmail allows you to save your documents online, archive them, etc. Also you can publish your documents out as PDF files easily, etc. It also allows you to “share” or co-edit text with up to 50 other people. This could be interesting for some sort group project, or like me, if you’re working with editors and publishers.
Also, another neat thing is, you can publish your documents to any blog you own, right from the service as well.
Google continues to RULE.
