Deadwood… Damn!

Boy do I love this season of Deadwood. Tonight’s episode was one of the BEST. I can’t believe they killed _______. It was unexpected.

The writing… well, the writing is just something to be envied. David Milch is a genius.

Man, it really stinks that the show is “cancelled” (although they will have 2 more 2 hour movies I hear) but MEH. Give me a full season!!! I don’t know what HBO is thinking on that. And this season is getting even RAVER reviews than the past. Sigh. Everything I enjoy, be it a product or a show, always goes away too soon.

From what I read, all they wanted was one more season to finish things up and HBO wouldn’t fucking give them that.

    Cocksuckers! Loopy cunts! Fuck HBO!

  2. Dev Says:

Soooo… you’ll drop the Dumbledore dime, but you censor who got offed on “Deadwood”?

I love you more with each passing day.

That’s another one of those shows that all came out right when I moved out of the apartment that had free cable… damn it. I keep missing out on all the cool stuff. Of course, if I worked enough to have money to waste on luxuries like cable, I probably wouldn’t have the free time to actually WATCH anything. Catch 22.

Never watched the show but I sympathize because the same thing happens to me: Freeks & Geeks, Boomtown, Arrested Development and that HBO show that I think was called Mr. Show.

I only caught the last episode of Freeks and Geeks when it was on air and just a few months ago got the DVD to watch. Quite sad when you get to the 16th and final episode.

    My condolences on Deadwood.

I miss “Dead Like Me” and “Carnivale”. Feh.

Deadwood was outstanding last night. I missed Wu!

    Wu . . . big man!

    BIG MAN…. WU.

I hear the chief problem for HBO is the cost of the production. If you think about it, this show has the highest number of known actors and the set is 100% built, no ‘on location’ shooting. I guess that costs something. But dammit! They’ve been getting my money for over 10 years now, I think they owe me a good show!

I’ll tell you what. The most confusing part these days is figuring out what the Hell’s going on with Talierfero(Tolliver). He’s not making much sense lately.
