Dave’s Announcement And Working Theory

SHOCKING!!! Welcome to YIRMUMAH SWEEPS WEEK! All this week we’ll titalate your senses with revelations, like today’s, and wrapping up loose ends from previous comics, all leading up to the end of the week when one character’s life will be changed… FOREVER!
Regarding today’s strip, we’d been busting Dave’s Balls long enough, it was time to pass the torch. I do take full responsibility for Homo for the Holidays though. It rolled off the tongue. That was all me. The real Dave IS getting married later in the summer. Mayhaps we will meet his bride to be soon with her own Yirmumahfication into the strip. We don’t want to scare her off. 
Since this is “Sweeps Week”, it’s the perfect time to tell new folks about Yirmumah and bring some new readers to the madness. Perhaps post a link somewhere to your favorite strip from the Archives, or tell folks about our glorious books.

Even us Yir-zombies who apparently worship DJ as some minor deity have strips we don’t like sometimes, you know.
But we just comment to DJ instead of making assholes of ourselves in public, because unlike zome of the folks who comment around here, we’re not doing it just to stir things up.
I love the people who come and read every day just to say bad things about the strip… have fun driving DJ’s site hits through the roof, guys.

So, Sweeps Week in TV-land is an advertising thing; more people watching, more advertising revenue can be collection… Is there something similiar going on here or is it just for fun?
