Episodes 7, 8, and 9 are an urban myth. George Lucas has stated multiple times in interviews that he never had any intention of making more than 6 movies.

You miss the point tek, the point is we don’t want Lucas to make them anymore. He’s gone bonkers. We need someone else with an “actual story” to make them.
Someone has to obtain rights to make em, this probably will not happen with lucas alive. doesn’t want them tainting his franchise and all although the great creator himself became the taint, corrupted by the very power the fans gave to him.
The books published by Spectra, are the only good ones and they pick up nicely.
The Thrawn Trilogy (which can be made 1 movie), is excellent.
Yes Shadows could have been a movie, if it had been made in 1985.

Yeahhhhhhhhhhhh………..last year I worked for Fox and got to see Star Wars / Sith three times before release, twice at the Zanuck (Fox’s top-notch theater on the lot.) I remember thinking “wow, what great effects……where the hell is the plot?”
