40 Year Old Llama
** I’d like to start the day off with some underground nepotistic type voting for one of my cousins. I don’t know the details, but if you vote for him, he wins a chance to play the Star Spangled Banner with his trumpet on July 4th for a big baseball game. Currently, he’s in like 3rd place in the voting, let’s get him to win– Yirmumah-Twin powers, ACTIVATE!!!. Go vote for NATHAN DEAN right now.
You know what? I’m kinda digging the comics in black and white for some reason. It harkens back to the old school Yirmumah stuff.
I’m thinking of organizing a local dinner of some sort for Yirmumah fans and colleagues in the Pittsburgh area for the upcoming Pittsburgh Comicon. It would be the evening of Saturday April 28th. I’ll be discussing this with my wife. Wiz is coming down for the show, and while I don’t have an official Yirmumah table this year, I will be there pushing “Hero By Night”. So, anyone from the area who’d like to get together for a Yirmumah dinner, you’d get to meet Wiz, Calypso, myself and if the universe bends correctly enough, possibly even…. shiver… Bob! — It would be a night to remember. I will try to plan something or other. This is still of course in the “just popped into my head” stages.

Demeaning yourself and helpless others is repugnat enough within the bowels of your so-called comic - but have you no respect for your own wife ? Marriage is about respect and love - not ” pimping ” your wife in too tight clothing on the net for anyone to ogle at . ok, i’m a female in a non-traditional career (yes, diane, i went to university for longer than you, and i know how to spell “repugnant”) and my guess is that diane is uber-religious, not some kind of ‘feminist’, just to clarify this for you boys. i’ve taken a lot of crap in my day but i laugh as hard at yirmumah as anyone. if dj really hated women we’d know by now. actually i thought some of his wife comics were pretty touching. diane probably sits in church every sunday for her marching orders like a good little girl and posts hate mail on a webcomic that dares mention sex, meanwhile ignoring the real ills being visited upon women.
thanks for bringing the yirmumah back dj! and i’ve been digging wiz’s other stuff as well.

Oh , and you’re very much in error hardhat for I’m rather sure my years in post graduate school outnumber and deliniate whichever major you might have stumbled upon . As far as the collective fear and bigotry of a modern womens’ right to opinion shown by the uneducated masses on this site I only wish you all the best - the best chance of rising past reading comic books and playing video games and so perhaps striving for an actual life . I have found some of D.J.’s work very emphatic - I also met him at the Bethesda SPX - so save any more of your impotent words of bond to D.J. as I have met him and appreciated parts of his works as well - though a progression towards maturity in his work would suit not only him but yourselves as well .

Ah, Diane. I have a PhD in a hard science field and two undergrad degrees, so I doubt you top that, especially since you can neither spell “delineate” nor understand what it means. Clearly the major you stumbled upon didn’t include any English lessons.
Let me break it down for you:
1. Taking your education and ramming it down other people’s throats like you are more intelligent and superior is not only bad form, but it only proves you’re a snob and an asshole.
2. Instead of engaging in a real debate about the content here, you chose to simply make insulting ad hominem attacks on DJ and his wife, and again, act like an asshole. Last time I checked, putting on superior airs and attacking someone’s moral compass was not going to get you much of an audience.
3. These type of ridiculous, ill-thought out, alienating attacks are precisely what brands the rest of rational women out there as hysterics. Thanks for bringing us all down.
4. Accusing people of not having a life when you are posting in the wee hours of the morning on a webcomic you supposedly find ‘repugnant’ is clearly the pot calling the kettle black.
My guess is you are not only uber-religious but have some sort of major inferiority complex that you need to pass off as self-righteous attacks on other people. Do your sisters a favor and can it. If you don’t like what’s here, try starting a real debate instead of your snobby, useless attacks and get off your high horse.
