2005 Yir-Year end Polls

Diesel Swipeys?
I’ve gotten 5 e-mails and one instant message this morning suggesting that my comic’s gag for last Thursday was swiped by Diesel Sweeties today. Both strips have a reference to ELFs and MILFs in them… mine was straight up E.I.L.F. and his was M.E.L.F. which, I honestly don’t know what that stands for… but still, I want to say publicly here that I don’t think R. Stevens would sink that low to swipe from me. He’s got his OWN warped sense of humor, and this is proof that we’re tuned near the same station of idea flow. And THAT my friends, is friggin scary! — (honestly though, mine was funnier, heh)
I’m not a HUGE Diesel Sweeties fan, that being as much as I’m not really a reader of webcomics AT ALL anyway, but I do get links to it occasionally and I threw down and bought one of his Ninja Shirts awhile back too! I love that shirt.. (it’s in my dryer right now) — But yeah, while I don’t read his strip daily, I love his creativity. It’s awesome. And I refuse to believe he’d ever swipe from my cesspool of Yirmumah. 
OH! A quick scan shows me a new shirt of his that says “JOHNNY CASH is a GANGSTA” and it’s printed in gold ink on black. DUDE, that is mine. Money sent. Genius.
This whole train of thought makes me actually want to read good webcomics more often or make time for them– but I have a rule I follow so I don’t end up getting subconsciously inspired by other gags too.
Forget all this– GO And vote for the YIR-YEAR END thing…
